Returns Information

Mahers Photographic returns policy does not affect or alter your statutory rights under European and Irish law, but details our policies both to facilitate these and in addition to your basic rights.

Items bought in-store, ordered directly from our website or ordered by phone are covered by a 14 day cooling off period (from the delivery date) within which you may cancel the item and receive a full refund if it is unused. If the item has already been dispatched then you are under obligation to return it at your own liability for the cancellation to stand, and your refund will be less our shipping costs. Please note, if sending products back to Mahers Photographic the packaging and product must also be in the same condition as received. When the item has been received by us we will inspect it thoroughly to ensure the product is fit for resale and process your refund afterwards.

Items will also be accepted for return where there is a material fault with the product or where it is not fit for purpose as per advice given by one of our sales staff. Please note that we can not accept responsibility for cases where an item is purchased without seeking advice and it subsequently fails to excel in specific uses outside those expected for such a product or for which it has been advertised as suitable by the manufacturer. With that in mind whilst we do our best to help customers choose the correct product to fit their needs we also encourage all customers to seek their own advice and research prior to purchasing.

In no circumstances can a cash refund be given on purchases simply because of a change of mind on the part of the purchaser, but a credit note may be offered at the discretion of the management provided the product and packaging are in the same condition as when received.
